One of the very few beaches on the San Francisco Bay. Before I came to
the Bay area, I also had the wrong imagination about the Bay as a place with
hundred of miles of beaches and palm trees being used every day by the millions
of people living here. In reality, the most of the the shore line of the Bay is a
tidal marsh or a rock. The water is cold and still considered contaminated by
the ecological abuse of the nature in the past, reaching as far as to the Central
Valley of California or even to the Sierra Mountains (farming and gold mining.)
