From Chimney Tops Trail we moved on to Mingus Mill. I've always loved this little mill - the water flows down the millrace into the mill house, where the cast iron turbines grind corn into cornmeal. The mill house is staffed with a miller to demonstrate how the mill operated and to answer any questions. The second floor is also now open (it had always been closed when I was there on previous trips). There is a sign indicating the second floor will be closed if graffiti once again becomes a problem.
