This man and two of his brothers live together.
They have a simple life on what is left of a farm, from the old days,
now squeezed in between a shopping centre, new housing development and
very busy streets.
They seem to be happy, the kind of happiness that can be linked to living
in simplicity but their life does not seem to be easy.
They have an old house that would need, from the look outside, lots of repair.
Their car dates from the '50s or '60s, i am not sure.
But that car is their pride, with their garden.
They showed me the car, in their dusty garage.
I will make a mini gallery on my short visit with them.
Not one time any of them said anything on what they looked like or the clothes
they were wearing. They were all very happy i wanted to take pictures of them,
smiled of amusement and were so natural. They moved me.
Why did i visited with them?
Ahhh, that is because, in the middle of urbanity i found this strange
farm that seems to have a climate and a rhythm of its own.
Another story that has the taste of a red light
even if that time, it was just a stop.
i noticed two man working in the heat of the day with straw hats.
I had no choice, i had to go see them
even if i did not have the luxury of time.
We exchanged names, smiles and a bit of history
of their past, recent and less recent.
I am so happy i did... I want to go back,
perhaps with my tripod the next time.

"Freebie" challenge: I could not find better "freebie"
than the shy but genuine smile of this gentle face. He was sitting
in the dark, cleaning the vegetables from the garden
that the other older brothers were bringing to him. This
was like a sort of a cave where they keep the result of their labour...
On both his hands he had fingers missing. It pinched my heart deeply.

I needed a tripod but, was not prepared for this out of the blue encounter...
So, forgive the lack of precision in the image.
