Casual encounter between neighbours....

Nyon - Vaud (Switzerland)

I have always liked the music of Pink Floyd, even though they might be considered out of date by many by now.

I’m out of date too, I’m proud to have never been in fashion.

Oscar Wilde, who as always knew what he was speaking of, once said:

“Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.”

But this will be the subject for another day speculation...

What was I telling about?

Ah, yes, Pink Floyd.

Their music..... I think it’s suitable either for early morning or for the golden hour before sunset.

It’s not a music composed for full daylight.
It’s oneiric in a certain way.

I have just come back from a short walk, just by the lake, because it’s a nice time for that.

I took a photo of a snobbish swan (it happens that beautiful creatures are totally deprived of mental skills, swans are not as quick as ducks and sparrows...) and suddenly I heard in my mind an old song
"A Pillow Of Winds"
Already the title is beautiful...a pillow of winds...

“Now wakes the owl

Now sleeps the swan

Behold the dream

The dream is gone”

Wow, Your narrative really adds to this stately swan's pose. Glorious. Pink Floyd is a favorite of mine too.
