Thanks, Michael! Now I can enjoy those pink elbows and belly button moles unhindered! They really do help to make the image! ~Sharon

Great modelling work. That attitude takes some work to pull off successfully. And the hair is of course simply out of this world! :-) Compliments to model and of course photographer. Regards

I wasn't going to say anything till the end of the Challenge...but Sharon was correct. I figure that I am always bitching....this was necessary to make this gallery worthy work...Very good, nice clean up too.

Best Wishes, Traveller

Oh, Sharon, nit nit nit... But then, of course, you're ever so right! Removed bits of chair at waist and replaced image. -Michael

Great portrait Michael, that background really is good for this composition.

Harry was my first thought as well, funny how fairly minor parts of an image can have a major impact?

Really fantastic! Love the look and the colors! I do wonder if the bits of chair behind his waist are really necessary, I find them a bit distracting. Great work, as usual, Michael! ~Sharon

Traveller, I thought eyeglasses might be on the edge but when I saw the new glasses I just had to go there for this challenge.

Olaf and Mary Anne, no doubt the Harry Potter is there. While it wasn't planned when I shot this, it was clear when I reviewed the raw files. I almost used Harry Potter as part of the title, but figured I'd best make amends with the challenge topic by choosing a title that said why I took the image for this challenge.

Shu, I shot this at a friend's studio with wonderful natural light through a large window to the left of the frame. The wall was hand painted by the studio owner and it's really marvelous. I haven't changed it since I first posted it.

Thank you all. -Michael

i have been thinking about this and marvel at the pose, expression and painterly b/g you have used to add appealing color to the image. did you add the b/g separately? i like the skin detail such as the veins and red knuckles and elbows.....also, i wonder if you have changed this in any way since you first posted it! shu

You're right, Olaf. Harry Potter all grown up...boyish and erotic at the same time. Well done, Michael. BTW I love the background.

Just finished reading Harry Potter for my son. Those glasses and that hair - well need I say more? (I haven't seen the movies, so I only know what Potter looks like from the description in the books).

Really striking! And ballsy. I had no idea that this was yours, I assumed that we had some new courageous participant. Interesting in all regards...almost kind of bravo....it is right out there on the bleeding edge.

Guts and glorious is always good....lol

Best Wishes, Traveller
