Greater Yellowlegs in a lodgepole pine tree

Echo Cove

I ran into a pair of yellowlegs in a muskeg meadow. I'm guessing that is where they nest because as I approached I was dived on by both birds. Took a hasty retreat and photographed from a safe distance. Shorebirds really look out of place standing in a tree! :)
