| Remember the picture of the radar scope? Well, this is what we saw. This is Typhoon Dinah in July 1984. Notice the mean-looking eyewall in the upper half of the photo, and you can even see the ocean surface in the lower center. This is what a storm looks like when it is fairly young. |
