slug's desk.jpg

chapel hill, NC

no doubt this is illegal in this gallery, taken with a borrowed nikon 880
but this is my desk as of 10 minutes ago exactly as it was naturally.
you can barely see part of the old pbase.com server under the desk which did the job until may-2001.
that aluminum thing by the glass of coca-cola is part of the heatsink for one of the CPUs in the new server that should go online next week and be much much faster than the current machine.

a switchblade? that's a box opening tool. how else do you open your boxes?
don't worry, pbase lives in a data center somewhere else. no chance of coca-cola being dumped on the servers.

Uhhhh.....gives me a lot of confidence in the stability of pbase....well at least it isn't beer cans! Great shot!

OMG! Slug, dude, let me plant two words in your head...."Poland Springs"! That much Coke cannot be good for you!

Umm, Slug, is that a switchblade?

But the exposure, contrasts, and composition are all spot on. Awesome shot! hehehe
