Tenka Ippin 天下一品 is best known for its Kotteri Ramen with thick white soup. To us, it is too thick and salty. We prefer its Assari Ramen with clear broth. Both styles have a few slides of pork (Japanese char siu), bamboo shoot strips and lots of green onion. Either way, it is nice to have a bowl of hot noodle soup on a cold rainy evening.
This large chain originated from Kyoto. We ate at this one in West Shinjuku.
