Is Anybody Home?

June Challenge: Urban and Landscapes

We've "paved paradise" and
now have to put up homes for wildlife!

One of 3 screech owl nest boxes in my neighborhood.
Two screech owls were recently released following
treatment in a wildlife rehabilitation facility.
It's believe that they have taken up residence in
2 of our nest boxes. Time will tell...

That house and tree look suspiciously like one of my bird houses...



OK, the hole size for a Screech Owl and English Sparrow are different.

How lucky you are to have screech owls possibly nesting in your yard! I hope that we will see the parents and possibly babies in the near future! :)
