May Challenge: Memories

I found this little fellow clinging to the bottom of a shed wall
when I was exploring an old schoolhouse today. I've always loved
bats and love to watch them flying and catching insects. We built
a bat house once and attached it to the side of the garage.
No one ever lived there though but little did we know that someone
was living nearby! We hired a friend to paint our house. He put
a ladder up against the house and climbed up to the second story roof.
A bat came flying out from under the eaves and startled him.
The bat flew into the oak tree but kept coming back to see if
the painting was finished and he could go back to his bed.
Glad I wasn't the painter!

I believe that this is a Little Brown Bat.
