Art Of Segregation

Ennerdale Water, Cumbria, England

Out on a family stroll we wandered around the end of Ennerdale Water and I stopped at a wonderful crumbly stone wall covered in rich orange and yellow lichen. I hopped onto a low hummock a few yards from the wall and found that the stone wall, mountains and fields aligned in a strange secular geometry of shape and colour that I found peculiarly appealing.

Like the contrast between the background mountains and the green of the foreground with the wonderful dyke.

Nice shape and colour in the wall, there's plenty of colur and contrast even in the flat light
