It is rather a kind of taste. Some people may like dull images rather some may like more saturated ones. From the comparison, I do not notice any obvious difference in resolution / loss in fine details / increase in noise in different combinations of Colour and Tone. You may choose your own taste in taking different kinds of photos for representing different mood of the moment.
