On a family trip to the Lakes in England I found myself with an opportunity to sneak off and explore a nearby lake. Crummock water is the lesser of the paired lakes and Buttermere usually garners the most photographic attention. but I was in a mood to find my own little piece of spring delight and this little copse of trees on the edge of the lake shone beautifully against the bracken slopes of the hills beyond.
