The next generation in our family seem to have a sporting gene, a couple of them are very
good and excel in football and athletics and they've accumulated a heap of trophies over
the last 5 or so years. Today's little group of trophies (there are 9 of these on the shelf)
are from playing Australian rules
football which is different to soccer or rugby,
and as you can see in this shot, the ball isn't round.
The football season starts again in a couple of weeks time for the youngsters,
athletics has been going over the summer months and is winding up this weekend with a play-off
which will involve both days of the weekend, they can then hang up the spikes and dust off the
football boots.
