OK. Mark Thompsom, Director General of the BBC wants to axe 6 music. He can't see the point of 3 pop music stations. A view which surely disqualifies him from his job. Look, it's quite simple. They're all very different. Radio 1 is pop music for kids. Radio 2 is friendly chat, golden oldies and less challenging new music. 6 music is for people who don't fit Radios 1 or 2. People who care about modern music, don't want all that irritating Beyonce nonsense and have heard more than enough Robbie bloody Williams for a lifetime. I listen to 6 Music as Radio 1 makes me wish I was dead, while Radio 2 makes me think I already am. Mark Thompson, you're an idiot.
