Evening Baler Digout

Evening Baler Digout

This is a shot from last harvest.. I was baling barley straw on this evening and it was getting later in the evening and the dew had start to set in. The pick up had difficulty starting up after dropping bales and many times I had get down on my hands and knees and dig out the baler pick up by hand. In this case it plugged so bad I had to open the endgate and dig it out from the rear as well as the front. That pile of straw in the foreground was about a third of the total plugged in the machine..
It still beats a desk job by far any day.

Great afternoon light. You're right, outdoor work beats desk jockey cubicle work!
