Doug
Very clever shot. Yep I've gone from reel tapes, vinyl, cassettes, CD's, mini discs..and now with a several gigabyte micro SDHC card you can put an average persons audio collection on something the size of a little finger's, finger nail. (Still thinking analog has a richer sound...but digital sure is handy)I like how you've summed it up here. Best regards.

Excellent idea for this challenge..nice light and shadows.

I still use my 'sony walkman' with tapes. much to my kid's embarrassment. I still think the sound is far superior. The kids at school shout 'Miss' you listening to your MP3 then I produce the brick sized walkman from my bag. Let's just say it's created a few laughs, well 'sniggers' ... Who cares!!!

I can remember thinking how advanced and permanent CDs would be... audiophile vinyl... DAT... MP3... ;-)

Amazing find and indeed an old versus new technology of the same subject!

Excellent idea! I love this! I don't have either one, though. Still in the dark ages here and use a turntable too for music!;)
carol j. phipps01-Mar-2010 22:42
Right on with the new and old technology! I still have lots of cassettes.

Old and new media, hope the music is suitably 'old' as well.
Kevin Chester01-Mar-2010 20:26
LOL where did you find that .
Marielou Dhumez01-Mar-2010 20:23
There is not so many years between both of these materials but in fact , centuries of technology !
Frank Brault01-Mar-2010 19:55
