The base is of Myrtle to symbolize a strong marital base with the Lord;
The arm is of oak to symbolize the strength of our marriage;
The heart is of walnut to symbolize the beauty in the united halves;
The red velvet is to symbolize the artery that the heart pumps blood to the whole.
Both sides to sustain the other.
