You seem to have run this image through a filter which was not the intention of the exercise. Having said that, I can see how it may have been necessary to do so given that a plain monochrome conversion might have been hard to interpret. I should like to have seen the image prior to the filter. As it stands, I think it is a fine creative effort. I like the way that you have managed to give prominence to the photographer and the tree which seem to have emerged with rather more prominence than before.
