Raspberry Ripple

Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Scotland

Hoping for a sunrise I started on the opposite side of the road in the vague hope of seeing the red orb of the sun creep up over the horizon through a thin veil of mist it never transpired so I sprinted to a spot on the other side with a similar lofty viewpoint but this time used the mountains as a backdrop. I got lucky first the rippled sky started to pinken and then rapidly redden until for a brief instant I had a delicious mix of icy blue with a raspberry ripple sky.

This beautiful capture takes me back to the beauty of Scotland I enjoyed so much while traveling through in a camper. Love to go back for another visit.
