This does have the feell of coming from an early glass plate negative with the whiteness of the sky, the strong blacks and good contrast. The lead in path between the rails is excellent. Some of the earlier pictures were sepia, but this was done not for appearance, but to convert the silver metal to silver sulphide so that it did not fade with time

I like it. It appears to be a vintage photo with the really dark shadows/blacks. Well done..

It sure looks vintage. It's probably because it's so dark. It makes me think of the photographs taken of the 49er's during the gold rush. I'm sure I'm remembering them wrong they were probably sepia. :-) But it's what my mind thought of with the hills, and log/wooden church.

Hmmmm, its quite dark but a really neat chapel. It appears like a very old photograph. I like the perspective with the path leading to it. Linda S
