Hello Charles! Came across your article by accident. Glad I did. I presently shoot with a D2X, D300, and will acquire a D700 soon. I love my Nikon equipement and it shows with pride on all my pictures. These cameras are pro built, and quality is next to none. It might sound strange, but I still favor my D2X above all! For concerts and live shows, it will be the D700 to take the task. Most of my lens are full frame, and almost all are Nikon. Just wanted to say thank you for all the information you provide to us.
