Eurasian Bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula) male

My Garden, West Fife, Scotland

I lay down on the snow to take this image (my kids helped me up afterwards! :-) ).
The low afternoon sun & reflection from the snow have combined to saturate the colour in this image.

Not sure why there is so much noise? I simply adore these little finches. It made me so happy to see them when visiting Sweden a number of years back. As a child I used to sit and watch them come to the garden in winter. Talking about snow, could you send some here please.
