FOOD FOR THE PARKING METER

Fort Worth, TX

Not my hand, btw, I get to park for free! Caught this lady feeding the meter and asked if I could take a shot of her doing so and she said yes and laughed.

Great shot and a cool idea for the challenge. We get 12 minutes for 25 cents in San Diego, so I carry a bag of quarters in the car. Parking tickets run about $100 these days. GRRRRR.

Over here u need a credit card, parking is so dear! My last lunch... 9$ of parking, at 8PM on a Monday night. You'd think the streets where paved with gold, and that was in a dark tiny street, I was even afraid my car wouldn't be there when I'd get back, and in fact when I did get back, the policed had stopped a car with 2 guys in it.... We need more parking spaces.

Be very afraid of parking meters....
they have been known to bite the hand that feeds them!
J. Scott Coile22-Sep-2009 01:50
I didn't think it was your hand. Feed it or pay dearly.
