Watching Jupiter's moons disappear

Here is the setup. My camera, mounted on the telescope at right, snapped a picture every 30 seconds for 135 minutes. I watched the event unfold through a Questar Duplex. I used an 8mm eyepiece and a 58 (green) filter to enhance the contrast of the planet's cloud bands. This is a 20-second exposure at ISO 1250, illuminated by the light of the nearly full moon.
