The lavender fields of Provence are justifiably held in high regard amongst landscape photographers. These fields were close the village of Valensole and this one in particular caught my eye as I realised it would line up with the setting sun later in the evening. This is the twilight version shortly after sunset which was incidentally one of the most astonishing I have ever witnessed. This is pretty pleasing though.
