Your picture brings back happy memories of time spent in Paris. The Pompidou Centre was fascinating - for its exhibits on the inside, but I hated its industrial external form in confronting contrast to the style of everything we can see here surrounding it. Incidentally, I recall that this outlook impressed me for the view it gave of the myriad chimney pots on the roof tops, not otherwise seen from the street.
