crutches

Just like my photography needs a crutch(or 2) so does my body.
47 yrs old, I finally broke down and visited the eye doc.
If it wasn't bad enough to find out my ole body was breaking down, but a $500 bill, insult to injury : )
Not a smear, I've got a great doc. I should have got my eyes checked long ago.
Maybe my shots would have better focus : )

Excellent still life, Baine! Welcome to my world; I've been wearing them since my 20s. Now I need bi-focals! :(

Fantastic shot, Baine! Excellent comp/DoF and lighting! (Welcome to the REAL world where getting old is NOT for the fainted hearted!!!)

Very nice image, Baine. Your photography is great without them, you weren't using them in this shot. I am quite sure that is what auto focus is for, at least in my case. 47, your still pup.

Welcome to the club. :)
And remember, when you accidently sit on this pair you can get new ones just like them for $15 at the drug store.
