There are free guided tours; you pick up tickets at the gatehouse/information centre. The tickets say
"No video photography in the house" which implies, I thought, that still photography is allowed. But
there is another sign which you see once you are inside, saying simply "No Photography". A real pity, the
rooms are magnificent, well worth photographing, but the guide was the sort of man you didn't argue with.
