Torridon Burn

Torridon, Scotland.

A tremendously hard frost had gripped the whole of Scotland and no where was it more severe than in the Torridon valley with temperatures plunging to a frigid minus 18 degrees celcius. Above a clear blue sky reflected into the frosty shadows while late sunlight spread fingers of gold over scots pine and bedrock clustered around the burn.

The light is great, just touching the trees and foreground rocks. Lovely composition and details. Very well done.

What a passion and dedication for photography to go out and create in such a weather conditions. I admire, Ian.
