Dec 2008

After a decade of severe drought it's great to see rain...we have had a years worth
in my part this past month, but it comes at a price...severe storms have caused havoc
again....thankfully my small rural area is always on the fringe and though the trees were being tossed around & I was forced to roll up my slacks & remove my shoes to walk the path from work to my car ( where I had left my brolly ) we survived it.
Hope the sun doesn't come out today or the humidity will be murder.

Much needed rain for sure but all at once can be a problem. Looks beautifully green there and hoping for low humidity for you!

Drought for a decade? That´s a long time. The farmers need rain then to survive.

A welcome change at a price. These climatic swings happen here also.

The greens are wonderful to see, Laine. I know what you mean about the humidity. I hope it stays overcast for you.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a dial you could use to regulate the weather ? ...
