No, no, no....these beautiful horses are holding up the sky; that is why their heads are bent. The sand and sea are churning in anticipation of being swamped by the sky and the horses are a bit restless at the thought also. Wonderful picture!

That's a marvelous find, good colors, excellent tonal range, nice depiction of personality. These are but minor criticisms: There's too much sand in the foreground. It's nicely handled, but it should not be there. Likewise, why so much sky? Also, the tops of the heads being tangent to the horizon is a bit disconcerting.
