I had been to Gragg Prong a couple of times, but had come in from the Hunt-Fish Falls side. This time I used the directions in Kevin Adams' waterfall guide and came in from above the falls via FR981. The drive wasn't particularly colorful - except green - until I approached Gragg Prong, then things began to change. Most of the fall color was in the tops of the trees, so the hike along the stream wasn't that spectacular. But when I got to the top of the upper falls, the view opened up and fall color dominated.
