So I make this big point about being back and using the 40D and today I post another LX3 shot. . .
Actually, I was feeling pretty crappy at work, so I left early and knew that I wouldn't be in any condition to take a photo later. I'd planned ahead and packed the "Bike Cam" this morning before riding in (in 29 degree weather which did not contribute to my feeling crappy, I was coming down with something last night). I passed by these beautiful trees beside the Rockingham Golf Course (aka "The Rock"). I've played off one of the graves out here before (the 9th hole has this nasty dogleg right, play it too long and you bounce across the street into the cemetery).
I pulled off and came around to take some fall shots. I was probably quite the sight in my bright orange motorcycle jacket snapping photos (with my helmet on). Actually, I may have blended into the scenery too.
In camera jpg, used LR2 to sort and resize.
