This is very funny. I'm a sucker for old motels anyway, but the super-imposition of the mural over the real thing is such a great statement of commerce & (innocent) self-deception. ~inframan

A choice piece of Americana and an interesting commentary on the nature of art. The artist has painted the mountains on the wall even though you only have to look up to see the real thing. Then you come along with your camera to capture both. There's more in this picture than meets the eye.
