I love the grittiness of this one. You have captured this so well. This reminds me of a picture that I would see in the bookstore as I thumb through a NatGeo book. Well done. As far as the question....for a long time I thought I didn't believe in God until it was pointed out to me that I don't believe in organized religion. So much of it preys on the hopeless that it turned me off to the whole thing. I believe in God. I do not believe in churches that require people to pay to believe in God.
I don't call myself religious, I have always called it a relationship with God. Although, I do go to church and it is a great one, religion sometimes gets in the way of the "truth". I love this shot and love what you are doing here and believe God is smiling down on you right now. May your walk with the Lord continue!
