This shot has been done a million or more times but I felt compelled to shoot it......



It was quite a sobering experience...not till I came home
and looked at the pictures did the reality and magnitude sink
in to what actually happened
and what human beings are capable of.. thats why I closed
my friends holiday gallery as I didnt think it apt to post along side this one.

Ade, this is a fitting climax to an extremely powerful gallery, and I think we find it hard to take in the extent of the numbers and the cruelty. This makes you think about how the minds of a few caused some much suffering for so many millions over those years.
Like you, I have some good German friends and feel sorry that they have to live with this.
