I’ve got a bad sinus headache that I’ve had for over a week now. It makes wanting to do anything very difficult. That’s why I haven’t been around.
Today, I decided I had been in the house for too long so I grabbed the camera, (1st time in 9 days), and headed for the park. I watched a green heron preening and a few other sights that were interesting but no desire to shoot them. About half way through the walk, I decided to shoot something that had always interested me and take a new approach to shooting goldenrod.
By extending the telephoto, (80-400), to max and looking into the wildflowers/weeds, I zeroed in on this using the nearer goldenrod to act as a frame, (or base in this shot), and throwing the farther ones out of focus with a wide open aperture.
By the time I got home, my headache was worse than ever and had taken a total of 7 shots. Other than noise reduction, white and black point corrections, and sharpening, nothing done to this.
