This is a macro of the 'grain' on this really wild rock, just off the steps at the Pretty Marsh park. I hadn't realized until we were walking on the rocks that this trip was the first time we'd seen Pretty Marsh at low tide. I'd never seen this rock before as it was under water. I will have to go back through my images to see if this is true (though I believe if I have any images of the area, it would still be on film).
