LOL.... well done.

My dear ms chf, I apologize for having let so many days pass without responding to your eloquent retort. (I note that your verbal skills are well-matched to your photographic abilities.) Mxcat's title, subtle as a lead balloon, is a prod, a jibe, a thumb of the nose, asking for a response in kind. Your indignation betrays the hysteria of the chronic troll-hunter.

Fabulous title - fabulous shot - fabulous entry! Anyone who says otherwise must be a little.....squirrelly.... :-)

MxCat can be sarcastic and only use 3 letters ..where you have to write a whole paragraph.. Not exclusivity but efficiency..
Panda 14-Jul-2008 15:57
I didn't forget but maybe you should start to take some if you have difficulties to accept the fact everyone has the right of being sarcastic when the moment arises. MxCat doesn't have exclusivity...

It looks like Panda forgot to take his meds this morning...

WOW what a great capture. The colors and the composition are fantastic and the way you have managed to isolate the subject from the background... oops sorry, the background from the subject, tell us a lot about the wonderful photography skills and the highly creative talent you are blessed with.
No doubt that this picture is going to be highlighted in the history of photography as a very important milestone, which will serve as an example for artistic inspiration and technical perfection for many photographers..
Pity you didn't use an EOS after all, you could have got it much better but of course, a master like you doesn't need all these toys. It is the creative - artistic look you are striving to achieve and this photo is just a prove that you can do the same with any camera whatsoever.
Chapeau !!!

Fit the challenge very well, but the title...is a winner title, what a sense of humor!

canonmaven: as somebody who pretend to judge others you have to know that not cameras but people make photographs. And secondly - STF is a friendly community of well-bred civilized people respecting each other and others work. I don't think you belong to them.

Konstantin.

canonmaven: you know, idiots like you, who obsess over brands and think only something like a 1Ds could possibly make one a better photog, shouldn't be trolling on a photo hosting site or getting all worked up over a title made in jest. Grow up, fanboy, or link us to your own gallery and put all us users of "inferior" brands in our place.

Besides, any serious photographer know that the only "grown-up" cam is the D3 or D700... bet that gives your butt cheeks a rash, doesn't it?
Guest 13-Jul-2008 06:08
Funny how people with grown-up cameras are not themselves grown-up enough to not have to troll the sony community for anything said that might insult their grown-up cameras.
canonmaven 13-Jul-2008 01:15
Yah yah, typical sonyboy cheapshots.
Maybe someday you guys'll be able to afford a grownup cam.
Course then you'll have to learn to shoot something besides squirrels and ducks.
mschf 12-Jul-2008 22:36
hahaha, if we had to vote for best title, this one would get 4 points from me ;)
