I submitted this picture to a photo competition but is was disqualified because it is too provocative. And all I was trying to show was the religious compulsion we are currently suffering from in Israel.

while I don't understand the Religion Compulsion aspect I think its a great photo, however I would like to see the same shot without the "message"

Ilan. I've enjoyed browsing your site. I spent some time on this one as I think that it is very thought provoking. I wish I could hear more of an explanation related to the "religious compulsion" and this image. Drop me a note here on pbase if you get a chance. As far as acceptance of an composition like this.....I'm no expert but I do know that many significant images by the greats have suffered the same fate! Take care. Daniel.
