Just shows you can find great abstract images in the most ordinary of places, the warm light contrasts nicely with the coldness of the snow.

This is one of the Christmas lights around my back patio deck. They became snowed-in, and, when I shovelled off the deck, I couldn't shovel right up to them. In the meantime, the heat had melted a small cavern around the bulb and, eventually, melted through the thin wall of snow I left. The lit cavern is what you're seeing behind the bulb.

Wonderful shot, with great color, composition and texture! (I recognize the light and the snow, but can't quite figure out what is going on :).)

Beautiful abstract composition and I love the golden color!

Jerry, I especially love that there is such a warm tone in this image of a such a cold subject.

The light is almost engulfed in snow, love the warm glow against the cold snow. Very cool shot, no pun intended. ; ) Lora

Great shot as usual Jerry... This one is no exception...

Great shot with that weird snow effect. I guess the lamp took care of some melting. Very nice.
