Taken with my new Sony A77 and 16-50 2.8 lens. This is a 100% crop, and just over 2% of the 24MP frame.
It was taken hand-held, manual focus and in a slight breeze. The full bloom here is just one inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.
I think I'm gonna like this gear :)
