This valley, near Trout River in Bonne Bay, always fascinates me - it looks so extra-terrestrial.
To the best of my knowledge, this area has never been disturbed by man, yet very little vegetation has ever grown here,
because it's the earth's mantle, forced up by the collision of the continental plates and is nothing but rock and minerals.
