Freezer melt down
Came back from 34 weeks holidays and my sons advised the freezer was making funny noises and defrosting itself eg food was not frozen any more.
Long and short, technician arrives spends 30 minutes pulling the freezer apart and shorting things out to discover the auto heater element was faulty. It will be at least 5 days before he can get a replacement. So approx 50% food lost totally, some will be come cat food and the remainder will be cooked quickly.
Still under warranty, so hopefully no cost for repairs to me.
