Lens test - Nominal distance

All are center crops, shot at approximatley 25x Focal Length. Lenses tested are: Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8, Sigma 20mm f/1.8, Canon 50mm f/1.8, Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8, Canon 85mm f/1.8, Canon 135 f/2L, Sigma 180mm f/3.5 macro, Canon 300mm f/4 L IS with and without the Sigma 1.4x TC. NOTE: The Sigma 180mm macro test @ f/3.5 must be an abberation - operator error. This lens tests sharp even wide open in the other tests on this site and in real world applications; namely, the feather detail of hummingbirds.
