Cheli la

The Cheli la is a high pass to the west of the Paro valley and was the highest point reached during our trip. The road gives easy access to different altitudinal zones which allowed us to search for different bird species. Early morning on the road before the traffic starts is a good time to look for Kalij Pheasant and Himalayan Monal.
