Bamburgh Trip

In September 2011 I had a short break holiday at Bamburgh on the Northumberland coast. It is a beautiful area of wide sandy beaches, sand dunes and ancient castles. Nearby is the enchanting island called the Holy Isle or Lindisfarne which is reached by driving across a tidal causeway.
