Being Dwarfed Glencoe

Glencoe, Highlands, Scotland.

As you travel up the A82 passing the massive shoulders of the mountains of Glencoe that drop straight down into the valley beside you. There is an almost claustrophobic proximity to the great outdoors, the feeling that you are being dwarfed by the sheer enormity of the landscape. These little trees illuminated by a tremendous shaft of bright autumnal sunlight quite nicely convey the sheer magnitude of the mountains that rise either side of the valley.
